MABEL Wave 1

The main survey materials for Wave 1 (2008) of the MABEL survey are provided below. There were 16 versions of the questionnaire: four versions for each of the four main types of doctor (GP & GP registrars; Specialists; Hospital doctors not enrolled in a specialty; and Doctors enrolled in specialty training).

The four survey questionnaires for a particular doctor type were identical except for the discrete choice experiment questions in Section B. So, for example, the Specialist survey had four versions and these differed only with respect to Section B; all other questions were the same.
