Guay Lim is a Professorial Fellow at the Melbourne Institute: Applied Economics and Social Research and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Melbourne. Her research interest lies in the application of macroeconomic forecasting and policy models to obtain insights about issues, particularly around inclusive growth and business cycle stabilisation. She is a member of the CAMA Shadow Board, the Advisory Board of the Australasian Macroeconomics Society, the ESA National Economics Panel and is also the Editor of Economic Papers. Guay is the head of the Macroeconomics research program at the Melbourne Institute; the team is responsible for tracking, modelling and nowcasting the Australian economy, computing leading indicators of economic activity and analysing the consumer surveys of attitudes, sentiments and expectations.
