Call for papers

We are now inviting submissions to present at the workshop. Submissions in labour economics and applied economics more broadly, are encouraged. Please share this invitation with any colleagues who may be interested in presenting, especially new and junior staff and PhD students.

To submit, please email your full length paper or extended abstract (Microsoft Word or PDF format) containing your full name, position and affiliations (and those of any co-authors) to lew-2025@unimelb.edu.au.

Submissions deadline: Submissions have now closed

All papers will be peer reviewed and submitting authors will be notified of outcomes by Monday 9 June.

Authors of all selected papers will be expected to deliver a complete, or close to complete, paper by 17 July, which will then be forwarded to an invited discussant.

Session format: Two papers will be presented in each session, with each paper having one discussant. The presentations should be 25 mins, with 10 mins for discussant and 5 mins for questions from the audience (40 mins devoted to each paper in total).
