Dr Syed Afroz Keramat

Dr Syed Afroz Keramat is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow (health economist) at the Centre for Health Services Research, the University of Queensland.  He holds a PhD in health economics from the University of Southern Queensland and master's degrees in economics from the University of Warwick (UK), Lund University (Sweden), and Pavia University (Italy). He has a keen interest in health technology assessment, health-related quality of life, and the burden of non-communicable diseases. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles (including 17 first-authored). His several research have received media interest.
