Tracking the impact of COVID-19 on Australians

Updated weekly, our COVID-19 tracker presents a timeline of Australian’s expectations and attitudes towards COVID-19 pandemic. The data is drawn from the Taking the Pulse of the Nation survey and aims to highlight how Australians are adapting to various changes in Federal and State government policies as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.

Instructions for use: Click on the gender and age group buttons to see data for specific sub-populations. The default option is for all Australians and all age groups. Hover the mouse pointer over a line to see specific values.

Methodology
Data aggregated from the Melbourne Institute "Taking the Pulse of the Nation" survey. Aggregated data are weighted using survey sample weights. The "Taking the Pulse of the Nation" survey contains responses from 1200 persons, aged 18 years and over. The sample is stratified by gender, age and location to be representative of the Australian population.
