MapTitle: Estimating Causal Effects of Health Policies Using Large Datasets
Abstract: In this presentation, Yuting will present some of her recent work on evaluating the effects of US Accountable Care Organizations on Medicare spending, geographic variations in US Medicare spending and quality of care, substitution effects of prescription drug on the use of downstream medical care services, and how individuals change their medication use in response to difference in future prices. She will introduce the US Medicare data used for these projects and explore opportunities for potential collaborations.
