Title: Working inside the Melbourne Institute Data Lab (MIDL)
Abstract: Access to good data, especially microdata assets that enable deeper evaluation, is a critical requirement for economics and social sciences research. This is especially true as we move more towards using data from secondary sources to answer our research questions. This brown bag seminar will focus on some of the efforts by the team behind the Melbourne Institute Data Lab, a new secure data enclave that was set up by the Melbourne Institute to enable better data sharing and collaboration within research projects and communities.
